Every week I’ll be giving you a review of a song. Now this could be a song in the chart I like (or one I hate) or something a bit different I’ve found on this ‘ere interweb.
I’ll also be teaming up with my alter ego (get your head round that one) to bring you a bootleg. That’s songs mixed together rather than the live recording kind.
Technically this is cheating, since I kind of reviewed this last week. Oh well.

Well, what can I say. Another reality TV winner, another ballad. I really wish they would (literally) change the record.
Give this song to Westlife and it would get to number 1. Give this song to a new band with no TV show to back them and no previous hits and they would never be heard of again.
The people that pre-ordered this had no idea who would actually be on the song they bought, yet they did it anyway. This proves 3 things:
1) The artist doesn't matter.
2) The song doesn't matter.
3) It's the publicity that counts.
Now, I'm not usually one to have a go at the charts for being too 'mainstream'. I actually think a lot of chart stuff is good and I find it weird that fans of unknown bands hate it when they get too big.
But when people are buying a song they know nothing about, well...it's just wrong.
