For my first rant I bring to you the little annoyances in my life. Pharmacy: I know it’s my degree, I know it will be my vocation in later life, but it’s just so damn boring!! The student diet: I never thought I’d say it, but I really miss vegetables! Gran Turismo 4: The boys in my house have developed an unhealthy obsession with this game. Every time I walk into the living room I can guarantee one of them will be playing it. Not only is it interfering with my daytime TV schedule but they also pay me no attention anymore! I swear the deepest circle of hell is reserved for the creators of this game! Men (or my lack thereof…): I know there are good men out there, really I do. The problem is they never seem to find me. I get the ones who either; a) don’t have the courtesy to text me back; b) total bad boys who don’t like let alone respect me or c) boring losers. Anyone would think it was too much to ask for a Johnny Depp look-a-like with a reasonable command of the English language, a decent knowledge of science, awesome taste in film and a sense of humour!!!!! The southern sense of humour: Note to all southerners: Go stand in a corner and master the art of being funny. Or at the very least grasp the basic ideas about the appropriate use of sarcasm! Oh and mocking the Northern accent is not a good idea nor is it amusing in any way. |
