Wolfmother - Dimension by Ruth I’m so glad that Neale has allowed me to write a review on his Music section!! (And I reckon he’s going to regret doing so!) I knew you must all be itching to read a review of a decent song, with guitars, and drums and stuff, so I thought I’d review the single of Wolfmother, who I’ve recently discovered and love!! I think they’re from Oz or New Zealand – which is funny, as they remind me of The Datsuns (also from Oz or New Zealand). There’s no reason not to like this band really. The guy’s got a nice voice, the song is quite catchy… although we’re not talking major Arctic Monkeys pop. I’m not too sure about the lyrics, they seem fairly random, but I think it’s more about the music, which is cracking. It gets me up around my room singing along and playing air guitar, which is all I want in a song really!! And you’ve gotta love the intro to the song, literally a scream. 4/5 |
