Doctor Who (BBC1 – Saturdays, 7.15pm) by Craig Hey hey, it’s Craiggy here, filling in for Neale for reasons undisclosed. (I swear, if you do anything to harm that puppy… I’ll…) Ahem, anyways… Doctor Who, man, the 10th Doctor already… My, hasn’t time flown by… It seems like only yesterday that we had the likes of William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton entertaining us with this quirky and eccentric character, and now it’s down to the acting prowess of a Mr. David Tennant. It was his second official episode as the new Doctor tonight, his first being way back at Christmas… So, this has certainly been something I’ve been looking forward to for a good few weeks and, needless to say, I wasn’t disappointed at all… We had a rather interesting storyline in which (and I’m not going to give too much away for those of you who haven’t seen it), we had some old faces returning, plus plenty of new ones, including the very feline nurses and some rather pustuley people who I doubt will be making a return, but who knows… The good Doctor might have a few surprises left for us. Still maintaining the same format of showing you clips from the following week’s episode, I must admit, next week promises to have a lot in store for us too… I’d definitely consider keeping my eye on this one. by Neale I have to say I'm disappointed. This week have been the worst I can remember for quite a while. Every major storyline has been annoying more than anything else. Hopefully after Easter we'll see the real Neighbours return. Legend of the week No one: I wasn't too impressed with anyone this week really. In fact, most characters annoyed me in one way or another. Tosser of the week Everyone: Harold, Lou, Elle, Ned, Izzy, Paul, Max, I could go on... Dishonourable mention The script writers: The Harold/Paul thing is too stupid for words; the Ned/Elle/Izzy/Paul thing is annoying me; and Max is being a complete loser over Steph. Sort it out! |
