I'm reminded of Abba for some reason...
Waterloo Road (BBC1 - Thursdays 9pm)
by Ruth
It’s Ruth here again, helping Neale out and writing a few articles.
Thought I’d review Waterloo Road, which I’m totally addicted to. Ok, the series is almost finished, the last one being on Thursday, but it’s going to be great!!
So now I’ll fill you in on what you’ve missed, so you can join us for the last one.
Basically the whole school’s a mess, and is now waiting on results of the inspection.
At the beginning there was a car crash, a boy died. The boy who drove the limo that crashed is in jail for it, but is trying to get his girlfriend to say she was driving.
A lovely teacher (Angela Griffin), was sexually harassed by a nasty pupil. The Head illegally excludes him and in the next episode that all kicks off. Her storyline is also driven by the sexual chemistry between her and the posh deputy Head… will they or wont they?!
All series we’ve had to deal with the frustration of the gorgeous teacher Tom marrying his fiancé, rather than her best mate who he’s really in love with. However, they are finally separated and he’s getting it on with his true love. Woooo!
And I think that pretty much sums everything up, briefly.
But to top it all off the Head teacher is called Mr Rimmer… how can you not love this show?!

The world of Ramsey Street
by Ruth
This week saw Susan and the brats arrive back in the street. I wish Zeek would just talk, it’s not that hard. Kayta’s being a wet lettuce over life in general, and especially the whole Susan and Karl thing. Why can’t she (and Susan and Karl) except that they are meant to be together and should never have divorced in the first place! I do love the ‘Love Doctor’ and wish everyone would just give him a break.
Then there’s the whole Izzy getting off with Ned to stop Elle from leaving. It’s all for Paul, the man she won’t admit to loving, but surely does. Wooo, bully for her. I reckon she’s just got a thing for a bloke with a limp.
Legend of the week
Karl Kennedy:
Just Karl in general does it for me. Especially seeing the look on his face when singing his song in Gino’s play.
Tosser of the week
Ned Parker:
For being 'such a girl'!!
Dishonourable mention
Izzy Hoyland:
Why did she have to go and fuel Kayta by saying Karl ‘liked them young’?!
