by Jenni  It may have passed most of you by, but ladies and gentlemen: the World Cup is upon us. Don’t worry though, you still have plenty of time to jump on the ‘football is brilliant’ bandwagon and it's still not too late to adopt that misplaced sense of patriotism. Here’s what you need to do: 1. Buy a Nova/Micra/Saxo/206/Ka. 2. Invest in one of those clip on flags. (Actually – you have 4 windows, why not quadruple the fun!!) 3. Get a few bumper stickers – many are available bearing slogans such as ‘Lad’s army needs you in Germany’ and ‘I’m an England van’ – all are equally poetic so you needn’t worry about people mocking your intelligence. 4. For that added touch of class why not get some fluffy red and white dice or an attachment for your aerial. Remember – there is no such thing as ‘too much’ or ‘OTT’. 5. Wind down your windows and blast ‘3 Lions’ as loud as you can. You are now ready to support this great nation and its world class players…….for it is you who are the pride of England. |
