Yes my friends that time of year is here again. Many would say the 78th annual Academy Awards was all about the films – schmeh I say to them. We all know part of the fun of Oscar night is bitching about who looks awesome and who needs to sack their stylist. As a certain satellite TV provider bought the rights and forced people to pay to see it live, I had to rely on ‘This Morning’ and ‘Film 2006’ for my fashionista fix. Without further ado here is the year’s biggest fashion bitch….. The Good…  Very Grace Kelly.  Sorry I can’t find a full shot of this one, but trust me it’s stunning. If I was a man I’d do Salma – actually I think I would anyway!  Very simple but very elegant.  If I was a man...ah you know how the rest of that sentence goes.  If I was a girl...oh I am. The Bad…  I was with her until her knees! The top half of this dress is gorgeous, as is the necklace, but the bottom is a little too mermaid for my liking.  Same problem really – too full at the bottom but the top half is fine. Someone should tell them that navy and black don’t go!  I know she must have been pissed that she didn’t get nominated for King Kong, but there is no excuse for wearing a curtain that has been eaten by moths!  Arrrgghhh that dress actually scares me! ……..And the downright ugly  Oh Charlize, stumbled at the last hurdle! She was so well turned out for the other awards ceremonies and she turns up to the daddy of them all wearing this! It looks like that dress has a tumourous growth or something!  |
