by Neale Last week I found some images leaked onto the net from Nintendo's marketing department (yes, such a thing exists). They looked like shots that are going to be used in a forthcoming advertising campaign for the new DS Lite. Anyway, I just couldn't resist finishing them off...  The doubletake. You think the headline means the girls, until you realise it's talking about the DS.  The song lyric pun. Puns are pretty unresistable in advertising, as this one proves.  The double-entendre. This highlights the new ways which you can play games on the DS. And is nothing to do with how touchy-feely everyone is... As a side note, I've used that font as the DS Stylus features in all the pictures, so it is a nice connection between the handwriting style and that. |
